Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieves area sales by contributing area sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements and implementing changes.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional customer facing/listening skills and the ability to coach the same within the team.
- Energetic and charismatic sales leadership skills that can motivate both an internal and external sales team to meet quarterly objectives and strategic goals.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Accounts with extensive relationships and the ability to build relationships
- 5+ years of relevant experience in working all facets of enterprise market sales. Existing relationships can be leveraged immediately to gain mindshare and market share for products and services.
- Experience with networking products, solutions, markets and competition.
- Experience in developing and implementing a successful go-to-market plan and multiyear (three years) business/sales plan.
- Experience building and developing a high performing team sales professionals.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Skilled at resolving complex negotiations with various channel partners and internal stakeholders under time pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills including listening, writing and public speaking.
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers.
- Expertise in a broking house and building broking channels with trade understanding.
- Ability to think long-term, process nurture mindset, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
