Job Summary

Core Responsibilities

Day to Day operations management and troubleshooting of Windows 2k12,2k16 servers, OS patching, service pack installation, troubleshoots various server related issues, troubleshoot NDRs, tracking emails etc.

Administration and support Microsoft Windows active directory domain, including services like DHCP, DNC, DFS etc.

Conduct performance analysis and fine tune to configurations to increase performance.

Day-to-day operations of Exchange 2k13 and 2k16 environments which includes Incident , Problem, change, release, performance and availability management.

Writing power Shell Scripts to automate System Administrator job for both Active Directory and exchange.

Maintain a proactive review on the performance of application servers.

Maintain system and network standard operating procedures up to date.

Effectively communicate system and network events and root cause analysis after resolution

Troubleshoot / redirect problems to appropriate resource, identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention and track and route problems and requests and document resolutions

Prepare activity reports on logs from Servers

Review / Manage Antivirus Server and Backup Server Logs on a daily basis and submit reports to the reporting manager

Working on problem resolution, identifying the root causes, and taking preventive maintenance.

Coordinating with different support teams effectively to solve issues and strong commitment to get job done under pressure.

Document procedures, policies, and how-to documents to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the business.

Execute change management processes in accordance with company standards

Troubleshoot problems, issues related to Windows Servers, Services and resolve within agreed SLA.

Administration and support Microsoft Windows 2012, based domain, including services like DHCP, DNC, and DFS etc.

Maintain system and network standard operating procedures up-to-date.

Prepare activity reports on logs from Servers

Perform scheduled Patch Management Tasks and troubleshoot, resolve related issues, incidents etc using WSUS

Provide out-of-hours support as and when required

ExperienceRequirements

4 to 8 years relevant experience in the following:

Technical support experience on L2 Windows Server Administration and experience on deploying / managing large Windows server infrastructure at L2 / L3 level.

Strong technical Knowledge of Exchange server, Software, service pack installation, troubleshoots various server related issues troubleshoot NDRs, tracking emails etc.

Qualifications/Certifications

A full time technical diploma or engineering degree on computers

Microsoft Certification on relevant areas will be an added advantage.

ITIL Foundation certification is desirable

Knowledge Requirements

Expertise in installing, configuring, migrating, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security, failover and load management Window s servers in various environments like, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012,2016 platforms and setting up the development, testing and production environments

Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows Based Systems & Servers (Preferably remote administration) with strong knowledge in Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 Server Operating System and related Services (essential)

Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory and associated services.
