What Youll Do:

We are looking for a Network or IT security to join our services support team in Bengaluru as a hands-on Technical support on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, of network security problems, conducting demos/PoCs and technical documentation on problem resolutions, customer follow-ups, remote diagnostic skills preferred experience in working a network product company, such as Cisco, Sophos, Symantec, or working with Tier-1/Tier-2 Network System Integrators.

As an L2 Technical Support Engineer or Network security analyst or security analyst, you will have a chance to.

  • Contribute to the development of managed security services vertical.
  • Develop SOP/SOW and other technical documentation based on the customer environment.
  • Implement or drive implementation for customers of Cyqurex,
  • Serve as a Technical Support Engineer between various customers and senior / executive management.
  • Operate as a technical subject matter expert and advise project teams regarding integration and multiple cybersecurity technologies.

Who you are- your Roles and Responsibilities:

You are a big picture person with

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals and general security technologies
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until theyve solved a technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain jovial relationships with clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to motivate and lead team members
  • Strong organization, prioritization and rationalization skills

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Security Engineer, security analyst, network security analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and various networking devices such as firewall, router, etc.,
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field or relevant experience
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
