You are expected to be a professional QA engineer with manual and automation testing background and knowledge of building automated systems to test both front-end UI, backend services and databases. You will be testing all aspect of a distributed system.

Job Description : QA Will be responsible for

• Coordinating sprint stories with team resources to ensure QA commitments are fully achievable
• Reviewing stories in detail to participate in grooming, sprint planning, and assess testing efforts
• Performing hands-on test execution
• Automating test cases for functional regression testing
• Monitoring daily regression builds to ensure quality of code is consistently maintained
• Contributing to product design to ensure testability and robustness of products and features
• Working closely with PM and Developers to deliver high quality releases for production.
• Defining and improving QA Processes/ Best Practices
• Creating/Tracking Test Metrics, Project Metrics and ensuring corrective actions are taken to keep good health of the deliveries
• Motivating the team to deliver the projects with the desired Quality level and efficiency
• Applying innovative concepts in testing to enhance the test coverage, improve Quality and Reliability

Skills: Essential Skills

• BE/BTech in CS or equivalent with at least 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation testing of mission critical multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript and Python with experience working with Selenium &Robot Framework
• Experience working and testing in private and public cloud environments like AWS, Azure and GCP
• Experience in doing peer reviews for automation code
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Artifactory and working knowledge in Docker
• Must be hands-on setting up & debuggingVMs
• Knowledge of application deployment automation management and tools like Puppet/Salt/Kubernetes
• Knowledge and testing experience with Microservices
• Strong scripting experience in relational database such as MySQL, Postgres, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Strong experience in RESTful API / Web Services Testing and API Automation tools
• Experience testing integration solutions that leverage RESTful interfaces, SOAP interfaces, Message Bus interfaces (Kafka, RabbitMQ), ETL Tools in both Realtime and Batch mode
• Experience testing with Rules Engines is a plus
• Experience testing with Workflow Engines is a plus
• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with Security systems and practices (SAML, OAuth, JWT)
• Sound knowledge of SDLC phases and Testing Life cycle
• Strong Ability to define and execute Test Suites/Test Cases
• Strong Strategic thinking and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with and take direction from remote US based teams
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently toward long term and short term goals to achieve the overall success of the team.
