Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities Leadership Role

  • Leading the entire Sales and Marketing Function of the organization - Domestic & International Channel Sales & B2B Sales
  • Delivering the Sales targets of the organization
  • Introducing new product categories to the market by leading the sales team in product launches Providing leadership over the sales department. He / She will be in charge of developing weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the departments performance against targets
  • Manage the departmental calendar with regards to priorities including launches, promotions, exclusives, and campaign activities for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
  • Establishing and overseeing the adoption of departmental vision and values, which forms part of the work culture resulting in inclusive growth and healthy competition
  • Showcase the capabilities of the company at various industrial forums, both in India and internationally, like Trade Fairs, conferences, etc.
  • Develop and manage sales marketing operating budgets. analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Strategic Role:

  • Design new product-market strategies, build relationships with customers and Industry associations and industry bodies towards brand building for the company
  • Deliver an optimized market mix relative to the core target consumers and identifies the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the departments goals as well as the overall goals of the business
  • Implementing sales strategies that further the departments agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business
  • Channel development nationally(initially) and internationally(subsequently) including new appointments and review and performance improvement of existing channel partners
  • The candidate, along with the territory managers team, will create and implement sales action plans that incorporate key actions that work to set KPI s for the business
  • Liaising with the entire gamut of stakeholders both internal and external that includes Company Management, Sales team, Production Teams, External Agencies and Service Providers, Industry Bodies and Associations, and others
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase the demand for the company's products
  • Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improving of sales and business profits
  • Design go-to market strategy and incentivize channel partners to go after right market segments, competitors resulting in business growth
  • Closely monitor and analyze developments in the regulatory and statutory environment in the metal industry to identify opportunities and threats beforehand to guide and direct the company s strategy accordingly
  • Closely observe the brand and make forecasts, identifying new trends ahead of the curve, hence, offering the business a competitive advantage and keeping it ahead of its competition in the market
  • Evaluate performance of the current product portfolio and recommend optimization avenues
Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Product Development and R&D teams to identify, evaluate and develop new product offerings in line with market trends and company objectives
  • Coordinate with Product Management and R&D Teams for addressing and complaints related to products
  • Maintain close liaison and productive relationship with the management to ensure smooth operations and drive company objectives
Other Duties:

  • Hire, train and groom SE s & TM s as required
  • Evaluate & approve costing & estimation for customized solutions with the team
  • Ensure timely payment collections
  • Review & monitor team performance along with providing regular constructive feedback to improve performance of individuals and teams in the organization
  • Motivation, retention, and career growth of the team

Desired Candidate Profile
Top level position handling all India Sales through Territory Managers and Sales Executives.
Experience Required :

10 to 18 Years
