ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Enter Manages day-to-day activities in the IS Project Management team to ensure IT programs and projects meet the organization s goals and requirements. This includes efficiently tracking resource assignments and projects. Maintain a strong business acumen in IS and throughout the business and apply it to each assignment. Ability to perform business analysis functions which include eliciting and writing requirements. Establish and maintain open, fluid and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders, and project team members. This could include all levels from Company Executives to individual contributors. Proactively implements and provides guidance related to processes and policies.--Be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from project request through project close. Ensure Mouser s SDLC is adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. Champion, drive and aid in the evolution of Mouser s project lifecycle within IS including documentation standards and communications. Must take initiative to spend time with all user levels. This includes formal meetings, informal meetings, side by sides, etc. Act as a mentor and coach to the IS Project Managers, as well as any other IS team members, by providing daily and proactive support in a timely manner. Provides guidance and manages resources to include assignment, performance and training.Develops and provides feedback for annual performance reviews. Lead and manage a team of typically 5 or more resources. Assists in the interview and evaluation process of potential new hires. Work effectively on multiple priorities with strict deliverable dates. Maintains strong relationships with other department leaders to define, prioritize, determine funding limitations and staffing requirements and develop projects and programs. Openly communicate with management the progress and issues that encompass the IS department. Provide all stakeholders with high-level of service excellence. Ensure critical project issues are escalated, as needed, and resolved quickly while implementing strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence. Trustworthy, maintains confidentiality, and follows company policies and procedures.Participate in RFP, estimation, negotiation and contract execution. Reviews MSAs and SOWs for pending and active projects.Successfully manage vendor relationships for multiple initiatives on a daily basis. Assists in the planning and management of a formal agile implementation.. Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance. Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices. Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination. Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives. Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments. Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments. Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels. Extremely confidential and trustworthy. Demonstrates knowledge, experience and understanding of critical job function of the team and people management. Assists management with development of results oriented strategies. Regular attendance at work is an essential part of the job. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Enter In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, prototyping, JAD). Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. In depth understanding of Mouser s business systems, applications, data sources etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Rally, Jira and/or TFS. Proven ability to manage multiple enterprise-level, large, complex projects is required Strong business acumen, operations and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to assess current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, build consensus and drive the implementation of related changes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively without being authoritative, balancing between competing priorities while remaining flexible and creative. Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success as a team leader. Experience supervising teams and creating an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field. In lieu of a degree, 3 years as a PMO Manager or a higher-level position. In addition to the above the following experience is required: Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Project Team Lead/Supervisor or other equivalent management position. External candidates: Minimum 3 years as a Project supervisor or a higher-level management position. Lean Six Sigma experience a plus Experience working with offshore resources Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or one of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications is highly preferred
