Job Summary

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure transport operations, TMS (Transport Management System) & Vendor management process are carried out as per the procedures.
  • Management and coordination with Transporters as per daily planning received from Customers.
  • Timely evacuation of import arrivals from Port in coordination with Transporters.
  • Follow with Customers on timely and regular placement of vehicles as per planning.
  • Ensure adherence of all the Compliance process of Customer as well as of site.
  • Follow all the HSSE guidelines issued by the management on time to time basis.
  • Ensure correct and timely data entry in the relevant systems and interface with MIS / ERP system of APMT. Handle various
  • queries of export/import/account.
  • Prepare/check vendor invoices and various MIS reports.
  • Ensure optimum vehicle utilization and planning
  • Bring Cost control measures
  • Maintaining the best possible TAT between the key corridors.
  • Liase with procurement team and ensure right cost negotiation at all times.
  • Attending all the escalations.
  • Ensure Safety as per APMM Safety norms across all processes

We are looking for

Education:

  • Graduate from a recognized University/ College. Post-Graduation degree in Supply Chain Management shall be preferred. Industry Certifications in Supply Chain Management shall be appreciated.

Experience:

  • Around 3-5 years relevant operational experience with a leading supply chain service provider.
