Senior Product Manager Job in Locus

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying scope and nature of current/ potential future products by conducting market research, interfacing with various teams within organisation, analysing the trends through data; and see it through execution by generating product requirements, determining specifications, production timelines and roadmap for complete product lifecycle. As a PM, you might also help in developing marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Interfaces with multiple teams (Sales, Operations, Customer Service and others) to understand problems in each area and visualize product gaps. Evaluates competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Champions the role of articulating a customer's voice across teams.
• Defines product road map and signs off with stakeholders.
• Understands trade-offs and drives speed of execution of product road map.
• Defines product feature concepts with UX/Design team, keeping the customer in mind.
• Works with technology team to communicate release goals and be a part of product lifecycle.
• Owns shipping of the product - unblocks dependencies and constantly communicate to stakeholders.
• Post-shipping of the product, measures impact on key business health, user engagement and product performance. Rinse and repeat.
• Evaluates the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; assess new product ideas & product/packaging changes.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops; reviewing industry publications; establishing personal networks; participating in relevant professional gatherings.

Skills Required

• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably B2B SaaS, and an added plus if you have supply chain background Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• A proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding project and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one s sleeves to get the job done
• You don t need to be a senior software engineer, but a technical background is a plus
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies is also a plus.
