Job Summary

Job description:

Inventory Management strategy:

  • Manage inventory levels to meet demand, however minimizing excess stock and ensuring timely replenishment at Job sites/ Yards.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse organization, 5S, layout, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations and BD to align Inventory Levels with demand forecast.
  • Ensure Zero Dead stock and reduce the non-moving stock.

ERP Software Utilization:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP software implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Escalating to management on ERP modules (Change Request) to meet the specific needs of the construction industry, including inventory tracking, procurement, and project management.
  • Train store staff on ERP system usage and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Analyze ERP data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential areas of cost savings.

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and prevent stockouts.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and ERP records.
  • Vendor ledger reconciliation with help of Procurement team & Accounts, to ensure timely GRNs.
  • Optimize inventory turnover rates by forecasting demand, monitoring sales trends, and adjusting procurement strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Develop training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge of ERP software and industry-specific processes.

Construction Materials

  • Responsible for monitoring all Physical Inward of construction materials at Job sites through the site storekeepers.
  • Monitoring of site documentation (Like Inwards, Royalty challans, DC, Invoices, etc).
  • Monitoring of Issue slips, and Physical stocks along with site execution team and submitting monthly statement to all PMs & OMs.
  • Monitoring the ERP Consumption posting at site.

Experience & Expertise

  • Any UG/PG
  • 7 10 Years of Experience in relevant Field
  • Preferably worked with Construction Companies
  • Exposure to ERPs*(SAP / D365)
