Job Summary

Key activities

  • Is responsible for smooth execution of Exports shipments in line with customer requirements, country regulations, customs trade practices.
  • Timely updates to customer service team on shipment related information
  • To increase customer satisfaction (both internal/external) with best in class services
  • Manage customer complaints efficiently through customer service team
  • Manage cost effectively and strive to reduce cost consistently.
  • Understanding of Exports/GSC Process and adherence of the same.
  • Vendor Management
  • To ensure realization of complete cost and revenue at the time of file handling itself in LOGIS through GSC team.
  • Transmission of correct and complete documents to GSC team for file generation
  • Record all data entry on part of GSC for addressal through HO.
  • Maintain data quality all the times and avoid impact due data quality issues.
  • To ensure regulatory compliance pertaining to AMS, ACI, ISF and FMC filing.
  • Plug all possible gaps to eliminate revenue leakages.
  • Avoid claims, penalties due service failures.
  • To provide documents to FICO team as required for remittances.
  • Timely closure of Network Open issue and to avoid same from occurring due mishandling of commercials at file level.
  • Actualization of all Operational cost booked in LOGIS within timeline provided to avoid impact on P&L.
  • Achieving all Operational performance targets set.
  • To handle operational irregularities
  • Send pre-alerts to network office with all necessary documents within 48 hrs of vessel sailing
  • Co-ordinate with documentation team for timely LOT transmission
  • Provide stuffing plan to gateway team
  • Closure of dockets in time upon getting it signed by Manager ocean exports operations.
  • Any Other responsibility designated by Manager Ocean Exports Operations
