Job Summary

Job Description:

The Corporate Recruiter/HR Generalist will assume responsibility of filling internal open positions, onboarding new hires, and performing general HR duties as they relate to Employee engagement and training.

Talent Acquisition 70%

Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
Sourcing or headhunting qualified candidates
Using talent acquisition tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
Administering company assessments when necessary
Making recommendations to company hiring managers
Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
Following up on the interview process status
Performing reference and background checks
Assisting hiring managers in selection process
Composing offer letters and negotiating salary, start date, etc.
Maintaining communication with hiring managers to ensure staffing goals are achieved
Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
Build & maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs
Completing timely reports on employment activity

HR Generalist 30%

Conducts new hire orientation/onboarding
Facilitates Employee Engagement & Employee Recognition activities
Coordinates and schedules departmental & company-wide training sessions as approved by the Leadership team
Employee Performance Management
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business related field
2+ years Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience
Experienced sourcing and recruiting a variety of skill sets
2+ years of Human Resources Generalist responsibilities
