Job Summary:

The Creative Lead leads the design process including initial requirements definition and conceptualization, as well as development. He or she contributes to the evolution and improvement of the existing design process. The Creative Lead also collaborates with the internal teams to develop creative strategy. In addition, he or she also converts complex technical and/or business concepts into compelling visuals/graphics.

Job Description:

The roles and responsibilities of the Creative Lead include the following:

Overseeing all digital projects and being responsible for the overall quality

Directing the creative team in production of digital assets and other deliverables online and in prints

Communicating and creating an overall creative team vision by defining the direction and goals for the group

Setting and maintaining creative standards for the department

Writing project creative briefs

Adhering to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies

Desired Skills and Experience:

EducationBFA

Experience5+ years of Design Agency experience, with a track record in managing designer performance and development

Proficient in designing for online portals, iPad, and mobile-based application

Capable of interfacing with clients and prospects, serving as the lead creative representative and helping to elicit clear direction on projects

Experience in digital projects/ISD visualization, art direction, and execution

Hands-on approach to animations, illustrations, graphic designing, video, and audio editing

Experience in managing creative teams (Print, Electronic, and Film)

Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, typography, browser capability standards, and corporate identity

Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Sound Forge, 3ds Max, Quark Express, Director, and Print and Electronic color theory is an added benefit

Should be a self-starter and capable of operating on minimal management oversight

Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines
