Role Description: Sr. Technical Manager: ACOS Incedo is looking for Sr. Technical Manager who will typically deal with the complete s/w lifecycle management of the Network Security and Application Delivery products. Incumbent should be someone with Product Engineering experience who can deal with Customer s stake holders like Engineering Manager, TPM (Technical Product Manager), Support team, Program management, R&D & Support and can also manage scrum team(s) of Technical Engineers. You would Manage On premise, Hybrid and cloud based Offerings of Network Security products with complete ownership of product life-cycle along with development & maintenance of product (features & defect fixes). As part of Network Security and Application Delivery team, your responsibilities include providing technical guidance, technology evaluations, Proof of Concepts development, design review, development (includes hand on coding), investigate issues & defects, creating test strategy, review test cases, perform automated testing, manage CI-CD, handling production issues and scaling the products functionality. Ready to manage work/meetings that fall at customer s time zone. Role and responsibilities Responsible for Programme management, Delivery prioritization and assignments. Responsible for driving the feature enhancements, software defect resolutions Guiding customer support team to answer support team questions and customer inquiries on Client s technology Responsible for leading and mentoring junior team managers on problem solving and trouble ticket analysis skills to have efficient timely defect resolution Work closely with QA & support team to provide best in class customer experience Analyse system core to understand possible root cause of the incident Willingness to go extra mile to not just identify and resolve a given defect but also analyse the related program logic to make it a right fix and not introduce another defect Lead & own the development & integration of product/service lines. Technical skills requirements The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in, - Preferred experience in Enterprise Networks Security, Application Delivery Controllers (Load Balancers), Firewall solutions, Threat Protection Systems. - Experience in network Security solution overall architecture, Security/Edge Solutions background. - Excellent understanding of designing and developing advanced L4 to L7 networking software and features, including but not limited to Policy Based networking, Bandwidth management, Authentication, Service Chaining, Multi Service Platforms, and Virtualization. - Desired - knowledge of networking including SSL, TCP, UDP, ICMP, BGP, HTTP and other L2-L7 protocols network architecture, cloud based, edge network data & analytics. - Strong programming skills with C / Java/ Python is a plus - Designing services for responsiveness, scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency Qualifications Minimum 15+ years of work experience in systems or application development, 5+ Years in Management and customer escalations B.Tech., M. Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
