Job Summary
Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employeesafetyat work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company is in complience and adheres to Occupational Health andSafety(OHS) guidelines.
Principal Accountabilities
- Plan and implement OHS policies and program s
- Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
- Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' Safety
- Maintaining the ETP & STP effectively to achieve the effluent parameters to comply PCB s rules & regulations
- Following ISO 14001 (EMS) protocols in the premises
- Achieving zero accidents through the continuous process of Induction, training, monitoring & preventive measures
Key Interactions
Key Interactions :
- Internal : Production, Engineering, Store, Logistics, QA/QC & HR
- External : Supplier, Certificates bodies, auditors , Vendors
Additional requirement:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EMS concepts & ETP operations and testing procedures of effluents to ensure the Pollution Control Board s compliance.
Knowledge & Skills
Essential Knowledge :
- Acceptable technical training in the field of occupational safety and health.
- Working knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation.

- Educational Qualification : M.E (Industrial Safety)

- Relevant Experience : 2 to 5Years
