Job Summary

This candidate will be the first staff person in an India office for a USA company. They will assist the USA staff in decision making and support all phases of office operations. This person should be driven to get things accomplished, be accurate and timely.

The work schedule will be flexible with an uneven workflow. There will be times when there is little urgent work required. During those times the candidate should be self-motivated and work on downstream projects as advised by the USA staff. There will also be times when the urgent work will be very heavy requiring more work hours than normal. These times should balance out. This job is not a good fit for someone who is a "clock watcher" that prefers a predetermined set daily work schedule.

There will be significant travel required at times to do QC inspections at factories, factory audits and travel with USA staff. There will also be office time required for reporting, office management issues, sample maintenance, etc.
