Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team to head the Supply Chain
Management & Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
project procurement, supply chain operations, and vendor management. This role requires strong
leadership skills to drive the team towards achieving company objectives and ensuring the efficient
execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of project procurement and revenue generation, ensuring timely and
cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
2. Lead troubleshooting efforts to address any technical or commercial issues in the supply
chain system, ensuring smooth operations.
3. Develop and implement strategies for scheduling purchase orders (PO) and letters of intent
(LOI) to meet organizational needs.
4. Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline fabrication processes, ensuring maximum
efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. Source vendors, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate contracts to
ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as Structure and Machining to optimize
collaboration and streamline processes.
7. Develop and implement quarterly budget and fund planning strategies, aligning with
organizational goals and objectives.
8. Formulate sourcing strategies for projects and establish targets for deliverables, monitoring
and controlling progress accordingly.
9. Negotiate payment conditions in accordance with customer budget plans and ensure
compliance with financial regulations.
10. Manage fund flow in relation to project execution, optimizing resource allocation and
controlling costs.
11. Drive significant cost reduction initiatives through effective project planning and
procurement strategies.
12. Monitor projects at each stage, tracking progress and performance to ensure timely
completion and adherence to quality standards.
13. Develop and implement strategies for overcoming challenges and mitigating risks to project
success.
14. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate the team towards
achieving company objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering /Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and
operations, with 7 years in a managerial role. Experience in operations of Manufacturing
Industry or Similar Industries.
• Proven track record of successful project procurement and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with
vendors and suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and
efficiency.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
across departments.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to lead and mentor a team towards
achieving organizational goals.
