Role Brief:

The role of Operational Excellence Manager is to facilitate and enable an efficient, scalable delivery model and operations, define / enhance processes and systems for scale and ensure seamless operations across the organization.

Additional responsibilities include defining a Governance Framework and templates, updating the standards and governance, driving actions to improve delivery models, pyramid and financials.

Key competencies:

  • Technical and domain expertise - Expertise in data analysis & dashboarding using PowerBI, Excel and VBA is a must. Designing and implementing Sharepoint sites with workflows etc will be preferred. Automate manual tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Execution excellence - Lead Governance aspects independently, define/enhance processes and drive the roll-out and improvements, ensure proper change management
  • Problem Solving - Anticipate business problems & deliver par excellence. Problem-solving and design-thinking approach.
  • People leadership Liaison with multiple stakeholders across various functions and teams in order to accomplish an objective.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Governance: Streamline governance processes, Define and maintain processes to ensure operations and governance documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete. Create and define governance framework and templates. Define, implement, track Delivery KPIs for Operations
  • Operations reporting: Create and maintain key MIS reports to be shared internal stakeholder, Track and report on Service Delivery Performance, follow-up on action items to closure. Trend analysis, forecasting and dashboards for key service metrics like utilization, NPS, pyramid/span, compliance etc.
  • Stakeholder management:Build deep relationships. Anticipate business problems & deliver par excellence.
  • Issue resolution:Use problem-solving methodologies to propose creative solutions to solve operational issues related to technology, access, connectivity, allocation, etc. by establishing strong rapport with key stakeholders, including Senior Business Leaders, IT, Finance and Human Capital (HC) Practitioners.
  • Project management:Time-to-time lead adhoc projects that helps improve the overall experience for the team and client. Example: Implementing / improving project delivery processes and/or operational processes, setting-up knowledge management portal, implementing workflows

The Person: Experience:
Must Have:

  • 2-4 years hands on PMO experience
  • Significant exposure to project and program management methodologies, processes andprocedures
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think beyond the box
  • Excellent organizational and time management ability
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of Excel, VBA and dashboards in Excel
  • Expertise in Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire
  • Expertise in Sharepoint 2010 should be able to setup & manage sharepoint collaboration sites
  • Ability to make impactful executive level presentations and dashboards
  • Data Analysis Skills
  • Good Understanding of financial reports and terms
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • Understanding of IT systems and Finance processes

Good to Have:

  • PMP / PRINCE / ITIL / Agile certification
  • Awareness of quality models and standards.

Education:

Graduate in any discipline.
