Quality Architect Job in Fortive

We are looking for a highly experienced Software Quality Professional to join our software quality management team as QA Architect. As a member of Tektronix India, Quality Architect will be designing Test Automation Framework for various software solutions, defining all quality parameters and responsible for maintaining high standards of quality KPIs for India R&D center.

Responsibilities:

• Will own complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, responsible for designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.
• Interact with Product Planners/Product Managers to understand and refine software quality requirements across the Globe.
• Conceptualize, Consolidate and Modernize test framework for various platforms, Functional Automation, Performance Testing and Security and Penetration Testing.
• Create a standard framework for Presents technical documentation for review by peers and Development community.
• Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity, and reusability.
• Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
• Lead system validation team and SQE forum in India Development Center.
• Define and Review test strategies with SQLs and guide to improve overall test execution cycle.
• POC for India R&D Center software quality team and interface with Tektronix US R&D Center.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct interviews, contextual inquiry, concept validation, or usability testing.
• Analyze test workflows, study results, give feedback and make recommendations for all quality related plans.
• Work closely with Software Architects to formalize, implement automated test environment for all new platforms and solutions.
• Participate in professional organizations to keep current on best practices and help with continuous improvement of the Test and Quality process.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Electronics and Communication (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as Quality Architect or Lead.
• Good Academic Records with > 60% marks and no gaps in employment.

Skills Required

• Experience and knowledge of concepts & practices related to Test Framework, Automation and Quality management.
• Experience in architecting & building test framework for a complex electronics equipment. Preferably for a Test & Measurement Equipment like Oscilloscope.
• High communication and presentation skills with (with fluency in English).
• Interpersonal skills, technical communication, efficient task management, and self-motivated.
• Good knowledge in programming concepts and experience in programming languages like .NET, C#, Python.
• UI and/or API level test automation expertise. Familiar with UI automation tools/utilities like LDTP, Squish and other automation tools.
• Experience in Test and Measurement Industry will be preferred.
• Experience working with Agile / Lean Software Development teams.
