Job Summary
  • Role Summary

The role holder s main responsibility is to administer financial operations and to ensure financial compliance. The incumbent will also be responsible for management accounting, and reports submitted to directors and other management stakeholders

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments for the company
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company s actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm s finances based on the analysis
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
  • Supervises the work of employees responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll and benefits processing and record keeping; supervises utility billing processes, payment processing and collections; supervises cash receipt and control of other types of remittances; reviews and approves monthly bank reconciliations

  • Requirement and Skills
    • MBA in accounting or finance
    • CA with Minimum 5+ years experience in finance.
    • Extensive understanding of Indian Taxation
    • Extensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
    • Proven experience as a Financial Manager
    • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
    • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
    • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
    • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
    • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
    • Candidate should have SAP accounting knowledge
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
    • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Excellent computer skills MS Office
