Job Summary
- Role Summary
The role holder s main responsibility is to administer financial operations and to ensure financial compliance. The incumbent will also be responsible for management accounting, and reports submitted to directors and other management stakeholders
- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments for the company
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company s actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm s finances based on the analysis
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Develop and manage financial systems/models
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
- Supervises the work of employees responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll and benefits processing and record keeping; supervises utility billing processes, payment processing and collections; supervises cash receipt and control of other types of remittances; reviews and approves monthly bank reconciliations
- Requirement and Skills
- MBA in accounting or finance
- CA with Minimum 5+ years experience in finance.
- Extensive understanding of Indian Taxation
- Extensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
- Candidate should have SAP accounting knowledge
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent computer skills MS Office
