Job Title : Director - Architecture

The Purpose of This Role

As an architect you will be responsible for advancing our strategic vision, direction, and design/delivery for the technology supporting our product lines. This includes driving innovation and architecture strategies and roadmaps across our organization. You will be responsible for designing, development oversight, vendor evaluation, and recommendations for solutions in alignment with strategic blueprints. You will also provide leadership/guidance to the business and technology areas delivering architecture, design, and development of reusable capabilities across multiple products

Providing direction and technical supervision for key architecture strategies

Identifying integration patterns and points between design areas

Providing support to project teams on design and application integration

Responsibilities of the role includes

Act as a trusted advisor and recommend actionable architecture solutions in support of the business initiatives balancing technology direction.

Proven experience in proposing blueprints and roadmaps, and collaboratively defining solutions and their enabling architectures

Experience in communicating and managing technology strategy and blueprint compliance

Actively participate in product release cycle, daily stand up as well as helping team with tactical activities like code review, design optimization etc.

Lead and present a technical solution (e.g. POC) and the underlying business requirements that drove its development;

Work closely with IT Product/Application teams in technology selection, evaluation, recommendation and configuration

Build and maintain effective relationships with product managers, WS architects and technical leads for individual products

Evaluate and recommend technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market

Regularly provides guidance, training and mentoring to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectations

An ability to develop and deliver presentations that resonate with an audience

Deep understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON, Java EE, Spring framework.

Relational databases like DB2 / Oracle /PostGreSQL

Event driver transaction processing and messaging patterns using technologies such as WSO2, ActiveMQ, Tomcat etc.

Security integration using oAuth and LDAP.

Cloud deployment models. Exposure to any public cloud like AWS, AZURE, google

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

• Business Rules management system such as ODM/Drools etc.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and technologies.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis and test driven development.
• Knowledge of No Sql Database MongoDb, Cassandra etc.

The Expertise Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Computer science or any other discipline
• Demonstrated mastery of previous level skills and responsibilities of relevant job family
• 10+ years of technology experience in software development and architecture

Location : Bangalore - EGL

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
