Job Summary

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arcadis, you'll be responsible for leading the design and engineering of substation main plant components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You'll work on high-voltage projects, from initial design to final construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Design and Engineering: Design substation main plant components, including calculations, specifications, and drawings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior engineers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 20+ years of experience in substation design.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK transmission system standards and regulations.
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience.
