Sr Engineer - Cad/ Engineering Support Job in Emerson Electric Co.

Job Objectives:

• Work in coordination with TL and ProjectsEngineers for assignments on modelingand drafting to maintain desired quality levels.

Organizational Position:

• Sr. Engineer CAD reports functionally to ManagerEngineering Services ASCO FLMC atEmerson Innovation Center- Pune.

Responsibilities:

• Person will behandling all Engineering Change Requests/Notifications independently.

• Work onselected design projects as a member. Provide backup support as needed forother

  E&D projects

• Prepareassembly design layouts with complete GD&T, analysis of fits andclearances.

• PerformingTolerance studies (stack-up)

• Develop 3Dsolid models and assemblies of design components.

• Providenecessary drawings/3D models required from concept through production.

• Provide drawingpackages including details, assemblies, layouts, and BOM structures.

• Interact withother design team members to meet and optimize product design requirements.

• Assumeadditional roles and responsibilities as required. Capable of handling multipleprojects.

• Perform CADadministration role.

• Perform Peer QCand groom the Engineer CAD.

• Adherence toquality process.

Skill Requirements:

• MinimumDiploma in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or Degree inMechanical desired with relevant exposure to design environment @5-6 years

• Softwareskills: Creo (Expert level), ACAD or DraftSight, Aware of PDMLink Practices

• Knowledgeof Strong modelling and drafting practices

• GoodKnowledge of Solenoid Valves, Cylinders and FRLs will be added advantage

• Good analytical skills

• Stronginterpersonal skills and team working.

• Workingknowledge of GD&T and International Standards preferred.

• Gooddrawing reading and understanding abilities,

• Respectcompanys values and ethics

• Awillingness to learn is critical.

• Goodcommunication skills are desirable.
