Job Summary

Required Skills

  • Practical skills and experience with many network application and infrastructure products, technologies, and services
  • Must be able to provide technical leadership for network integration of cross tower services, and transform high-level network solutions into detailed implementation designs
  • Must be able to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate standards in the creation and implementation of the solution whenever project requirements call for or would benefit from the use of standards
  • Must be able to demonstrate mastery of written and verbal communication skills which include the ability to stay on subject, leverage the use of good feedback, and use content appropriate for the audience
  • Should have at least 10+ years of experience in network architecture & design and have solid hands on knowledge be able to produce design suggestions sparring at a high technical level with employees and customers
  • Open for individual contributor role and to work in Global Time Zones

Technical Skills

  • Routing and switching protocols including RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VTP
  • Knowledge of Cisco Nexus products (9k, 7k, 5k, 2k, 1k), knowledge of Cisco ACI and Other Data-Centre Suite of devices and technologies
  • Knowledge of ARISTA Data Centre products
  • Knowledge of Cisco Routers 29xx/39xx/ASR etc.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Switches 3750/3850/4500/6500
  • Knowledge of Cisco ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto firewall
  • Knowledge of DNS, IP, Firewalls, latency issues, WAN acceleration tools
  • Knowledge of security policies through ACL's and MAC level restrictions in LAN and WAN environments
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing (Cisco ACE, F5 LTM/GTM)
  • Network Assessment and design of WAN/LAN network devices to optimize network performance and assure network security in a high availability environment
  • Knowledge of designing Wireless and IP Telephony solutions
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) & Network Virtualization
  • Network systems planning and diagramming Visio for documentation
  • Understanding of transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on TCP/IP are essential.
  • Must have knowledge networking features and protocols such as EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, STP, Ether channel, 802.1Q trunking, HSRP, QoS, multicast, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, T-1/E-1 T3/E3, Metro Ethernet, BRI/PRI, and MPLS
  • Juniper routing and switching knowledge
  • Juniper Security knowledge (SRX)

Responsibilities

  • Development of architecture for new infrastructure solutions along with Client's market solutions team leveraging new technologies.
  • Work with CxO level executives from client side and with on-site lead architects to develop technology plans and account directions on need basis.
  • Engage with on-site vendors on a need basis. Degree and scope of engagement with vendors will depend on the project
  • Engage with Client's various lines of services (LoS) and center of excellences (CoE) throughout the architecture design phase and lead the development of the technical solution.
  • Handle multiple network infrastructure technologies based on project requirements as part of the architecture design
  • Work with internal and external clients located in different time zones namely in Europe, North America and Asia
  • Documentation of architecture design to various levels of detail using the prescribed templates and standards and preparation of bill of materials for solutions developed
  • To handle client presentations

Qualification :
Engineering Graduate
Experience Required :
