Job Summary

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who shall be responsible for leading and coordinating software development and maintenance activities and personnel throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate shouldhave a strong passion for software technology and ability to directly contribute to product development and possesses previous experience delivering highly reliable, scalable enterprise class software applications.

Responsibilities

Leadership of software development activities throughout the product/solution development lifecycle
Gain a deep understanding of internal and external customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas, improve customer experience and drive growth
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Work closely with teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
Assists in architecting and designing solutions based on strong knowledge of the technologies involved.
Drive product launches including working with product management team members
Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Desired Skills

15+years of experience in software design and development with 7 years in a software development leadership role within product engineering and/or platform development and/or solutions development.(Technology stack: ASP.Net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript, Perl, MS SQL, Flash, XML, XHTML, OPEN XML)
Proven work experience in product management
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one s sleeves to get the job done
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
