Job Description
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the infrastructure management of SharePoint environments which includes SharePoint on Premise, SharePoint on Microsoft Azure Cloud and Office 365 (SharePoint Online).
Owner of an architecture and deployment of Projects and plays an important role in the entire Delivery Service. One should have excellent Technical Leadership and is expected to have extensive Design skills and very good understanding of architectural concepts.
Partner with development teams to design SharePoint management and governance protocols, manage the information lifecycle, design infrastructure and integration controls.
Good knowledge of networks, IP, active directory and DNS
Good knowledge of SQL Server Administration and SQL cluster administration
Knowledge in load balancing as well as the concepts of high availability and scalability Experience in creating virtual machines and setup SharePoint Servers in farm environment
Participate in backup , restore and disaster recovery of SharePoint farm
