Consultant - Devops Job in Cdk Global

Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems

Help automate and streamline our operations and processes.

Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments

Guide the evolution of our cloud infrastructure

Improve the availability, scalability, and performance of the cloud environments

Improve upon our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline

Build and create agile development and testing environments

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, computer science or related field is preferred

5+ years experience in DevOps and 5-8 years with AWS or other cloud computing providers

Experience with continuous deployment with container in a high availability environment

Linux system administration.

Understanding of networking concepts

Proficiency in coding/scripting using Python, Go, Perl or any other languages

Experience with Bamboo, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible or similar tools

An ongoing thirst for new knowledge and ideas, and a passion for software engineering as a DevOps Engineer

Experience working with agile and distributed teams

Creative problem-solving, proficient debugging and profiling

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Infrastructure automation using Terraform/CloudFormation

Experience configuring Apache or Nginx

Building AWS Images using Packer or similar tools

Experience with all or some of the following technologies: Bamboo, Ansible, Chef, NewRelic, AppDynamics, Apigee, CloudWatch, Container development, Continuous Deployment, AB Testing, Splunk, Data lake, Data Warehouse.
