Devops/consultant Specialist Job in Hsbc

In this role, you will: Help to design and develop infrastructure code to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processes. Drive key Infrastructure Services strategies for self-service infrastructure, self-healing for infrastructure break fix, fully automated governance, and even drive towards a future state of immutable infrastructure Collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage code releases. Work with senior leaders to deliver on complex, enterprise-level initiatives that are a part of the bank's overall strategic direction Be required to work on software containerization platforms such as Docker and troubleshoot related issues. Implement highly scalable and complex solutions. Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary Require familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes and/or Kubernetes engines on Cloud platforms.Require knowledge on Kubernetes workloads management, micro services containerised using Docker and related troubleshooting Be required for administering, and deploying and support development using CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, Ansible, Jenkins and also create/maintain pipelines. Need experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments Be required to work with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python.Require knowledge on Cloud Platforms GCP or AWS components especially Database, Kubernetes engines, IAM, logging, monitoring and security aspects The role holder has experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies, knowledge of log management tools such as SPLUNK, Rundeck and strong knowledge of version control Be required to engage with a wide spectrum of DBS & Finance stakeholders and partners both across and external to the business, especially Finance & DBS.
