This is a Project Engineer role, reporting to MES Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based out of Peenya, Bangalore; India. You will be primarily responsible for creating applications from scratch, configuring existing systems, providing user support and working with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

Your responsibilities

• Producing code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET)
• Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems which is developed in (C#, VB .NET) and ABB Products.
• Providing technical support for existing applications.
• Participate in requirements analysis and writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Performing testing and deploying applications and systems.
• Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Serving as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Your background

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in projects which are MES (Manufacturing Execution System) oriented.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer .
• Should have worked in at least two projects with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns.
• Should have worked in projects where C#.NET is used predominantly.
• Should have worked in projects which use Agile methodologies.
