You will be working as Procurement & Logistics Specialist in Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Peenya, Bangalore . In this role you will be reporting to P&L Manager and will be primarily responsible to design and implement plans for procurement to meet €œproject on time delivery€ and €œthe business targets€.

Your responsibilities

• Apply and implement ABB SCM standards, tools and processes in project procurement and vendor management to secure quality, delivery, cost, sustainability and integrity.
• Create and update reports, as required following the ABB standards.
• Execute and implement initiatives within the P&L and local division by collaborating with other functions.
• Apply ABB standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within P&L function operational work, contract management and negotiations.
• Deliver and participate in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
• Execute effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
• Standardize processes and implement routines as per Group directives & instructions.
• Support regional and global sourcing initiatives as required, and work on strategic sourcing and vendor development.

Your background

• BE/Diploma (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation).
• 7 - 11 years of experience in project supply chain and procurement.
• Should have experience in Automation / Electrical / Instrumentation projects.
• Should have good communication skills.
• Preferable experience in Oil & Gas/ Chemical / Power generation plant projects.
• Should have lead strategic negotiations experience in the current role.
