This is an Associate Principal Engineer role, reporting to the Engineering Research & Development Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon-valley of India. Its unique infrastructure places research, development, engineering, and service teams under one roof, increasing collaboration and reducing time to market, with no compromise on quality. Your responsibilities

• Managing and developing requirements related to network product.
• Interacting with the stakeholders to understand the requirement in relations to industries used.
• Developing the product design and architecture for the product.
• Developing UML based design documents and implementation of functionality adhering to design.
• Leading the activity of development of unit test description from design description, unit testing of applications.
• Understanding, analyzing and fixing the customer cases related to existing releases of the product.
• Developing the competency and support redundancy related features in future releases.
• Completing of features, user stories and tasks in the agile team with definition of done and acceptance criteria fulfilled.

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 12 to 15 years of experience in handling network/development projects in depth knowledge of protocols stack TCP/IP.
• Should have strong programming experience in C++,ATL COM,MFC and good understanding in OOA, OOD and OOPS concepts.
• Should have good understanding on TCP/IP, OSI models and other ethernet protocols like ARP, ICMP, SNMP, DHCP.
• Should have background in development of Networking Applications, Networking concepts and exposure on OPC-UA Pub Sub technologies.
• Should have basic understanding of patterns like MVP, MVVM, MVC etc .
• Should have a knowledge on Background Events and Delegates, ASync Pattern, MVVM STA, Data Binding.
• Should Have solid Understanding of System integration and applications, interoperability, data modelling, UML, software architecture.
