Principal Associate, Data Engineer Job in Capital One

What You ll do Be part of a team working together to design, architect, and deliver on a solution to accelerate and de-risk rapid model development by automating governance processes. Work to help design and deliver on our machine learning lifecycle metadata storage solution to ingest and then trigger actions based on metadata changes. Collaborate with product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive improvements to the model governance process and user experience for our data science partners. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. Utilize programming languages like Go and Python as well as AWS services such as EKS, the various EC2 and networking based services, DynamoDB, EFS and S3, plus various data platforms. Basic Qualifications Bachelor s Degree At least 4 years of experience in data engineering At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP or Azure At least 1 year of experience with agile practices At least 1 year of experience in big data technologies Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience with AWS 3+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools (EMR, Spark, Dask, Databricks) 2+ years of data warehousing experience (Snowflake, etc)
