Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related area is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support Engineer is the point person for high-value customer-facing engagements over the full customer life-cycle.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, implementation, testing and escalation of reported issues and periodic maintenance
  • Work closely with client services team across different locations
  • Interact with customer s technical staffon a daily basis
  • Deals with technical issues, troubleshooting, systems integration and data management
  • Working with different teams to troubleshoot customer issues, hands-on work with our Product
  • Maintain focus on excellent customer support and take responsibility for delivering high quality work under stringent deadlineswitha highly professional demeanor

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT systems and processes.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under self-direction.
  • Ability to learn quickly, improvise and troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge of any programming/scripting language like Perl, Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, C# etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries and the install of at least one of Microsoft SQL Server, and/or Oracle Database, MySQL, DB2, and/orPostgreSQL would be an added advantage.
