Summary

The Security Technology Access Control team is in need of an Information Security Analyst with strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Candidate must be a fast learner who can hit the ground running, eager to learn, detailed oriented, multi-task oriented, move with urgency and can contribute quickly.

The role actively participates in the onboarding of new applications into the Separation of Duties (SDP) process and in the monitoring of production activities of on boarded applications.

The Separation of Duties Program (SDP)implements controlsrelated to making changes in the Northern Trust's application production environments. SDP controls are used to limit and monitor developer access to the production environments. Additional controls are in place to accomplish change validation through system logging when changes are made and validating changes were authorized using the Change Management tool. SDP addresses security and data integrity risk by protecting the production environment.

Major Duties

• Plans and manages incorporation of applications into the SDP process
• Identifies obstacles to success of onboarding applications and escalates appropriately
• Works with application teams to keep them on track in the onboarding process
• Executes the SDP monitoring process, including auditing and followup with application teams
• Provides metrics to measure the onboarding and monitoring processes

• Monitoring and Reconciliation
• Management of Certification of Overdue Ids
• Review the Feed from Splunk

• Utilization of User IDs
• Knowledge of ServiceNow tool
• Background of Information Security
• Good Understanding of SQL/Oracle

Knowledge/Skills

• Minimum 3 years IT experience
• Highly motivated, selfdirected and possess solid execution skills
• Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Excellent people skills are also necessary as this position interacts with all levels of resources across the entire organization
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and provide weekly status updates
• Experience following a Separation of Duties and Change Management processes is beneficial
