Job Summary

Technical / Functional Skills

  • BE/BTech in Electronics field is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Embedded System designing.
  • Must be proficient in Embedded C programming.
  • Experience in working on Microchip PIC microcontrollers and MPLAB IDE.
  • Knowledge in UART, I2C and SPI protocols.
  • Hands on experience with interfacing various on-chip and off-chip peripherals like LCD displays, keypads, ADCs, timers, interrupts, GPIOs etc.
  • Debugging skills to trace the problems related to code and circuits.
  • Knowledge in drawing/verification of hardware schematics.
  • Knowledge in digital and analog circuits.
  • Should be able to work under a situation of changing requirements.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge in programming under Linux based OS will be considered as added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and debug new firmware for electronic products and systems.
  • Maintain and improve the existing designs and source codes.
  • Working with the hardware engineers in integrating hardware and firmware.
  • Work as a member of cross-functional team for developing electronics concepts/jigs required for R&D.
  • Testing and troubleshooting assembled PCBs/devices.
  • Work with production team to develop unit/integration test cases, test programs and test jigs.
  • Work with the quality team to produce documentation of designs and unit/integration test cases.
