ROLE DESCRIPTION As Solution Architect for Customer and Commercial IT Solutions, you are accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting architecture, design, build and operate activities for a portfolio of solutions in response to market disruptive forces, and achieving targeted business outcomes. You are trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams. Main Responsibilities in domain of Solution Architect are: Partnering with the Business area for defining and implementing the Commercial IT roadmap for CRM and Customer Service product tracks. You will also be responsible in streamlining the product operations in alignment with the business objectives of the organisation. Work collaboratively across business and technology to build good understanding of strategic objectives for commercial products, identifies business outcomes, explores implications, impacts, and risks, and stakeholders priorities. Work with product owners from different business units to analyze business requirements, define functional specifications, and consulting with product owners on strategic and operational uses of the CRM/XRM and Customer Service platforms Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and implement solutions for improvement. Leads technology implementations and modification activities (projects and products) for commercial organization. Creates and delivers working, production-ready reference implementations that can be leveraged and scaled easily by agile teams. Works closely with product managers, product owners and Architect peers (e.g., enterprise, business, information, security) to enable digital solutions / products agility, scalability, and resilience throughout product lifecycle as per industry best practices. Drive Dynamics CRM and Customer Service implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test and deploy. Design integration solutions for backend services and back office/ERP applications. Develop data conversion and testing strategies Serve as Bekaert Commercial organization s main point of contact throughout all project phases, effectively manage associated issues and risks and ensure on-time and on-budget implementation delivery that meets clients' needs and requirements. Lead CRM and Customer Service Products tracks by aligning high level design, low level design, code reviews, code quality & standards with various delivery teams and ensure project timelines. Responsible for functional & technical development phases of full-cycle Dynamics CRM enhancements, upgrades, implementations, & integrations with other applications, all other supporting tasks Leads agile delivery teams to ensure continuous delivery of business value, leverage shared technologies, tools, value streams and processes that impact speed to value and time to market Works with Bekaert Architect community (e.g., enterprise, business, information, solutions, and security architects) to analyse enterprise business context (business strategy and trends) and derive the future state technology architecture. Ensure strong alignment to enterprise governance, security and compliance practices through continuous collaboration and necessary interventions. Build a world-class Digital Engineering teams. Develop team capabilities and manage deployment to provide customer-focused design and implementation support. Ensure teams have the right skills and composition to deliver quickly and respond to emerging requirements with agile approach. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience 12+ years of overall experience, 6+ years into solution architecture, design and delivery of commercial / customer solutions on Microsoft Dynamics. 6+ years of implementation experience in medium to large scale (400+ users) environment Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / XRM, Customer Service customization, workflows and integration knowledge with custom APIs. Hands on development of plugins and custom workflow assemblies. Understanding of DevOps Automation process in related areas like CI/CD + Release Management + Security Azure CI-CD stack with integrated tools & technologies, (Azure, Jenkins or AWS), Code quality rules (Checkmarx, Sonar, JSLint, ESLint) and performance monitoring tools like New Relic/App Dynamics for scalable use cases. Good Experience and deep understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, XSD. Good understanding of overall Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, tools and technologies (including development tools, testing tools, configuration management and release management tools) Good knowledge and experience in application development, (API s) application programming interfaces, middleware, cloud compute, database management, identity management and security. Knowledge of existing, new and emerging technologies and ability to practically apply them to new business designs and business models to achieve targeted business outcomes. Good analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills. Be a voice of reason to make tough calls. Excellent presentation, communication, leadership and business partnering skills to effectively present information to senior management. Sound experience in working with Multi-National & Offshore / Onsite team
