Description

Objectives of the Position

To Service the customers. Order management vis- -vis order-to-cash tasks and processes, fostering a culture of customer focus

Main Tasks

  • Perform the order-to-cash tasks and processes, fostering a culture of customer focus on the team
  • Perform sales and delivery order management tasks, e.g. sales order creation and processing changes, follow-up on blocked orders, and L/C (letter of credit) handling
  • Contribute to development of customer relationships through proactive customer communication related to order management, e.g. product availability, prices, order status, and delivery tracking
  • Support sales team activities by performing background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends
  • Support credit management, invoicing, and A/R (accounts receivables) management, e.g. monthly closing, invoice corrections, handling invoice discrepancies, supplementary invoices, Debit Note/Credit Note creation, and manual invoicing
  • Forecast management, recording forecast variations, air freight approvals,
  • Should be aware about all RM, production and logistics challenges to supply customer as per forecast. Proactive communication to all stakeholders for current and future line stoppage situations
  • Ensure customer line never stops and BASF is supplying the parts as per timelines
  • Apply and maintain customer master data in SAP and document shipping instructions
  • Report and manage customer complaints via NCM (non-conformance management) system and proactively communicate status to sales team
  • Support implementation of business rules related to the customer order management process
  • Provide order status reports and monitor customer sales forecast, ensuring orders are within forecasts

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Education: Graduate in any Stream, MBA Preferred.

Working Experience: Minimum 5 Years.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

  • Exposure in customer service / supply chain / sales support / controlling
  • SAP working experience. Certification in SCM domain for e.g. APICS etc. will be an added advantage
  • Certification / Working experience in Analytics tools will be an added advantage
  • Well versed with SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes
