Job Summary

Position - Manager / Deputy Manager - Exim (Import & Export)

Location - Pune

Job Specifications:

  • Post Graduate with Foreign Trade course having 10 to 12 yrs. of experience.
  • SAP experience is mandatory

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Knowledge of Import & export customs clearance, duties, taxation & GST
  • Preparation & review of Export Promotion License applications like Advance Authorization, MEIS, SEIS, RoDTEP and replies related to customs and DGFT matter and reviews on weekly basis.
  • Redemption of Licenses with DGFT. Annuals submission of EPCG & Advance License related documentations to DGFT and closure thereof.
  • Maintaining DBK -All Industry Rate & Brand Rate Scroll details
  • Working on EDPMS/IDPMS When Required
  • Follow up to bank for submitted Documents, BRC Correction etc.
  • Use ICEGATE Exporter Log in for finding filled Shipping Bills errors
  • Resolve queries related to Bank documentation with Logistics , Stores & Accounts on daily basis.
  • Submission of weekly MIS report related to open points with various agencies and Govt bodies
  • Maintenance of documents for the various activities handled for customs and DGFT related matters
  • Support to Sales / marketing team for Export Logistics costs & timelines
  • Negotiate & Set up contracts with forwarders for Import and Export at optimum cost
  • Team Handling of 4-5 members, Proactive, Multi-tasking, Diligent, Communication skills
  • Review with service providers / consultants like Forwarder , CHA & DGFT on daily / weekly basis and ensure Intime completion of activities
  • Due diligence of Import & Export procedures& applicability to items, getting updated on changes in policies, notifications, trade notices & percolate the knowledge
  • SAP User knowledge of MM & SD module.
  • Train new joiners, mentor junior team members, provide on-the-job support, guidance and feedback to team members
