This individual will architect cutting-edge solutions using latest computing techniques driving proof of concepts with strong hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce architectural paradigms and solutions into the portfolio
• Actively participate/Lead team and enterprise-wide architecture and engineeringdiscussions
• Support engineers and Directors in rapid development and deployment
• Perform rapid POCs to experiment and build rails for the engineering team
• Drive both high level & detailed design and conduct design reviews
• Engage and work with cross-functional leaders (Engineering, Data Science,Product) to understand and help define architectural strategy, goals withinscope of responsibility.
• Clearly Communicate strategy /direction and related changesto senior leaders
• Mentor engineers and solution architects to ensure technology complexitiesare understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality

Minimum Qualifications

• 15+ years of strong hands-on experience in one or more of these systems languages: Java, Python and frameworks (Spring, Vert.x, etc.

• Experience in Big Data environments (Spark, Hive, Hadoop)
• Hands-on experience in the some of the following technologies: gRPC, ProtoBuf, JSON, NoSQL (Couchbase, Cassandra) Redis, Consul, Jenkins, OpenShift,Elastic Stack, OpenStack, Kafka
• Experience with micro-services architectures is required. Specifically, hands-onexperience with Docker based technologies, Kubernetes is required.
• Hands-on experience building highly scalable, large transaction volume cutting-edge systems
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing large scale infrastructureon-premise or on the cloud (GCP/AWS)
• Good understanding of Architectural Design patterns & Best practices
• Understanding of basics of Machine learning and algorithms is a plus.
• Proven experience debugging and resolving issues with systems componentslike network and storage.
• Strong communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving andanalytical skills.
• Proven collaboration and influencing skills
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science ,Computer Engineering, orrelated field required; Advanced Degree preferred.
