This critical role in the global pricing team is primarily responsible for defining and driving key business strategies to ensure competitive pricing for products sold on Amazon. With the ever growing selection and countries in operation, this leader will partner with country category teams to provide innovative pricing solutions in an efficient and scalable manner. As part of the Global Pricing senior leadership team, this leader will interact with senior leaders, including VPs and Directors to ensure Amazons price competitiveness across markets and manage large, multi levelled teams to drive key business goals.

A successful candidate will have an established background in successfully managing critical and complex business processes, excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with a fast paced environment. You must be very comfortable defining, developing and using metrics to drive the strategy and manage the business. The candidate will have a demonstrated record of team building and execution in a high volume operational environment and be able to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. This requires a person that is very metrics driven, yet has the vision to scale the business. The candidate must have a proven track record of partnering with technology teams and leveraging automation to drive efficiencies in operational processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in business, finance or strategy management


15+ years of work experience with adequate demonstration of people management and ownership of complex and critical business process end to end.


Business analysis acumen, with substantive experience measuring the success of a complex business process and proposing new business opportunities


* Extensive experience of working with CXO leaders

* Instincts to harness cutting edge technology to drive business


* Demonstrated ability in driving strategy and delivery for complex business operations, preferably in pricing domain


Demonstrated ability to hire and develop strong leaders and building a high performance team


Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* MBA from Top tier schools and six sigma certification is preferred.

* Experience in e-commerce industry
