These customers range from start-ups to leading web companies to Global 500 companies in financial services, pharmaceuticals, and technology.

The Mid-sized enterprise segment is one of the fastest adopters of cloud computing platforms across the world. AWS has helped a number of companies in this sector achieve global scale, agility and customer intimacy. We are looking for a seasoned leader with business background, technical depth, and communication skills capable of heading a sales team focused on increasing enterprises adoption of cloud computing in India.

This leader will bring deep and strong C-level relationships with influencers (in business and IT / CIO
functions across enterprise levels) to help further establish Amazon as the leader in enterprise cloud computing. Towards this goal, s/he will lead a regional team of Enterprise account managers and partner closely with AWS Solution Architects, Partner and alliances, Marketing, Enterprise support and Professional services teams.

We are looking for a self-starter who will to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets/ quota. This leader will report into the Head of the Mid-sized enterprise Business for India.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Basic qualifications
? Technical bachelors degree required. MBA / Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background is a plus.
? Experience in business development and solution sales for a leading software, hardware or IT services company
? Experience building and leading a team focused on development of large strategic accounts
? Strong track record of meeting and exceeding quota/ revenue targets
? Strong technical and analytical capabilities and understanding of complexities of large IT
environments
? Capable of Strategic thinking and executional rigor.
? Strong executive presence very comfortable with C-level executives with ability to sell business
value using ROI and TCO models, rather than competing on features & functions
? Team / People Orientation
? Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications
? Experience selling cloud solutions
? Knowledge of and experience working with customers in the South region
? Network and relationships among in the external environment among strategic partner
organizations and ISVs.
