You will be part of the team building a Smart Digital workforce by automating manual HR processes through Robotics Process Automation (RPA) as well as home grown Smart automation products, allowing the Employee Services organization to globalize their services with unlimited scalability. Amazon's ES Tech team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to align the customer vision to the technical solution, defining program/project strategies using Robotic Process Automation platform (UiPath) as well as home grown Smart Automation products. The person will help write the technical requirements, and manage implementation of multiple projects making sure customer strategic goals, and requirements are delivered with quality, ensuring a scalable, extensible, and maintainable solution with all cross system integrations.
The Technical Program Manager will interact with product management, cross partner teams, multiple stakeholders and leadership to deliver complex projects and programs. The person will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-off decisions, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
The person should have deep technical skills in Automation products and technologies to provide solutions, technical design, build, and delivery. This may include leading virtual technical teams to manage development, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other systems. Successful candidates should have a strong technical background in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) products, and underlying technologies, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. You will have a deep understanding of product design and implementation details and will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership and customers. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the teams decisions and drive secure and robust solutions, which have great customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of individual projects.
Establish the goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
Work independently for a successful execution of the RPA/Smart automation products/ solutions. Manage the entire product/solutions life cycle from planning till execution and then steady state as well for delivered solutions.
Work closely with Business teams to gather business requirements and write detail technical requirement specifications as per the technical constraints.
Provide technical guidance by facilitating solution/design/architectural discussions; find and research ways to utilize RPA platform to gain efficiency, productivity and scale.
Partner with system integrators, administrators, developers, architects and QA engineers to design, build, and implement enterprise RPA/Automation solutions.
Facilitate and oversee code review sessions to ensure design and configuration is consistent across the applications and compliant with standards.
Provide expertise on capacity management, level-of-effort estimation, task tracking and assignment.
Collaborate with partner teams to define deliverables and accompanying documentation for projects.
Identify, track and mitigate issues, risks, roadblocks and escalations at multiple levels.
Create and maintain and communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
5 + years of experience in software application/product development projects
3 + years of experience in technical program management for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Products, or other Automation platforms
Experience in implementing and maintaining systems and processes in large-scale, complex environments
Deep knowledge of system architecture/ Design Approaches and data integration
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
Experience in global, cross geographical project delivery, coordination and resource management
Excellent written and verbal communications skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technical knowledge/certifications and experience in UiPath or other RPA products
Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, Java, SQL, C# and/or other scripting/programming languages
Experience in Cloud Architecture / Application Design, Integration with SaaS products
Experience in API development and architecture
Experience in ETL processes
Experience in Data Analytics
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
