Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Employee Services Technology (ES Tech)- Content Management Solutions (CMS) team is expanding its implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to support Amazon's global workforce. You will get to develop and innovate with technologies such as Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Amazon Lex, and other AWS solutions. Your contribution will ensure employees can find knowledge they need globally, whether via self-service, phone, chat, e-mail or in-person support.


The CMS Team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented and inventive Manager, Technical Program Management to lead and drive delivery of solutions across our product lines. The Technical Manager will interact with product management, business analysts, development and test teams, cross partner teams, and multiple stakeholders to deliver complex projects and programs. The person will anticipate technical bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-off decisions, and balance business needs versus technical constraints in order to enable the delivery of large-scale, cloud-based contact initiatives across global regions.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will work successfully in a fast-paced environment, has a strong technical background, and the ability to align customer requirements to technical vision.
Manage developers and QA resources to implement multiple projects aligned to customer goals and requirements.
Develop deep knowledge of the HR and CRM platform and knowledge of downstream/upstream systems utilized by Amazon.
Advise the business on best practices and global requirements for optimizing the use of the paltform to deliver with quality, and ensure scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions.
Have a deep technical understanding of web application development and experience with AEM/AWS services to be successful at design, development and delivery of the product.
Should be able to anticipate and resolve technical problems, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with all levels of stakeholders, including key senior leaders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree with technical emphasis or related field
Good experience in technical program/product management experience with AEM and cloud based applications.
Experience in developing cloud based solutions and cross platform integrations
Technical experience with scrum agile development methodology
Strong understanding of key SDLC and architectural concepts
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Strong written and verbal communications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience in developing self-service applications on various device platforms including mobile
Good understanding of the computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Experience in managing engineering teams
Proficient in AEM foundational concepts.
Experience with developing powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/ targeting, content reuse, multilingual support, automated workflow management.
Proven ability to develop for complex use cases - architecture supporting content reuse as well as differentiation across multiple countries, languages, and authors.
Should be able to provide solutions in integrating third-party systems with AEM as part of overall architecture.
Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services.
