Director - Product Marketing Job in Amagi
Job Summary:
The Product Marketing Director is responsible for making Amagi s products successful in the market. Product marketing is the bridge between our products and our customers. This includes crafting a GoToMarket strategy and executing it. The Product Marketing Director will identify the target customer profile, define the unique value proposition for the product, its positioning and will drive all promotions and communication of the product vision & value. This position requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, different customer segments & usecases and be able to craft and communicate audience specific messaging for each customer segment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Amagi s products, customer use cases, competitive solutions and the industry landscape
- Research and define Amagi buyer and user personas, their specific needs, pain points, and goals that we can help address
- Develop and implement GTM strategies and campaigns in partnership with sales, growth, digital, and content marketing
- Develop a unique value proposition of the company s software products and solutions that differentiate us from the competition.
- Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (product videos, presentations, datasheets, case studies, demos, blogs, whitepapers etc.)
- Orchestrate marketing execution across campaigns & social teams
- Research and support pricing decisions in order to meet market demands and needs
- Partner with sales, product management, customer success, and engineering teams to refine and evolve our product roadmap
- Prepare training materials needed to enable sales teams, channel partners and sales engineering teams to successfully communicate Amagi s value proposition to customers
- Provide sales enablement tools like Total cost of ownership (TCO) or return on investment (ROI) calculators
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to keep up with the pulse of industry trends, be able to discover what s new, what competitors are doing, and which innovations are coming next
- 10+ years of experience in technical marketing, technical pre-sales, and product marketing/management
- Technical degree in Computer science or related fields. MBA would be preferred
- Entrepreneurial, ability to work independently with minimum directions
- Strong relationship and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Great team player with demonstrated ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
