Job Summary
Job Descriptions:
Onboarding the customer after Sales Director signs-up the customer by understanding the scope and service level agreements
- Managing and closing new contracts (products/solutions)
- Achieving the total account level and territory revenue growth (signed clients)
- Continuously exploring avenues and opportunities to expand horizontally and vertically within each account by way of introducing new companies that we represent, introducing new products from the companies that the customer may already be sourcing from and by encouraging Aknamed technology adoption.
- Responsible for close coordination with the Sales Director to conduct Senior Management Reviews Quarterly to gain more visibility, demonstrate results and grow accounts
- Develop strong sustainable relationships with relevant executive level and influencers at customer organizations
- Responsible for strategic account planning, ensuring appropriate input from other stakeholders, and focusing on the customer s business strategy. Ensures alignment to deliver holistic Aknamed value/revenue to the account, in line with the institution s strategic objectives.
- Overall account ownership: owns the overall institutional strategy and planning of the customer engagement plan
- Executes against the strategic account plan, driving active engagement with important Aknamed stakeholders and influencers
- Owns the overall Aknamed customer relationship with the customers in the territory assigned
- Responsible for customer loyalty and customer satisfaction at the account level
- Build, maintain and share in-depth knowledge of customer and segment
- Key expert on the customer: knows everything about the customer s business, strategy and operational / supply chain needs, budgets, competitive products at the customer. Able to translate this knowledge into the implications for the holistic Aknamed value proposition and the solutions we offer
- Stay abreast of developments in segment (country, industry, etc.) and share market insights/intel with Aknamed stakeholders.
Requirements
- Key Account Management role track record selling Medical Products / solutions in a B2B environment (2 to 6 years)
- Worked in a Supply Chain function at a Hospital- ex Fortis, NH, Columbia Asia etc.
- Preferably has experience selling to or working with Pharmaceutical, Surgical Devices, Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Devices disciplines
- Capable to work with regional / zonal sales team of suppliers in order to develop a close working relationship in tandem with revenue targets
- Experienced in strategic account planning; can connect the dots within customer s institutions
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills, fluency in English
- Regular travel required (20% time)
