Job Summary

Ideal Candidate: Engineering graduate, preferably with a PG qualification in sales or business administration Minimum 5+ years sales or business development experience in the Mining & Metals industry sector Well-connected and networked in this sector. Experience of having sold any solution and/or services to customers in mining sector (coal, iron ore, bauxite, copper, zinc, limestone etc), cement manufacturers, upstream metal manufacturers (steel, aluminium, etc), and having reasonable understanding of sales cycles in these sectors Experience of having worked through complete sales cycles in government departments and public sector undertakings, in addition to private enterprises, would be preferred. Reasonable knowledge of Drone and/or GIS solutions, upcoming technologies like cloud, IIOT, country regulations that affect target markets would be an advantage Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota and driving aggressive growth. Develop and execute market strategy and goals for the given segment; Drive solution-selling, together with the technical team and partner network; Apply account management skills to manage and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities in the assigned accounts and territories Develop and nurture healthy business relationship with our ecosystem of alliances or channel partners Independently lead commercial negotiations, deliver impressive sales and business presentation that helps to acquire customer mindshare. Ability to leverage Digital Sales tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator and use of CRM tools like Zoho.
