Home > Careers > Lead System Administrator Lead System Administrator Bengaluru, India Full Time As a Lead System Administrator, you ll have a crucial role in helping our internal and external customers achieve success by managing relationships and responding to their questions and service requests. You aren t afraid to get your hands dirty to tackle any issues, and you ll work very closely with the various teams in the organization and prioritize and resolve issues. Job duties & responsibilities: Research and recommend technologies to be always improving the infrastructure. Support project management by owning projects and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative to effectively manage the product deliverables. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems. Perform server administration tasks. Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including but not limited to: Mailbox maintenance, AD, SSO, Google Drive, MDM, Security and Compliance, Google Workspace, Windows servers, Linux server, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, network segments, backup technologies, and other cloud-based technologies. Infrastructure Automation by using scripting languages like a shell, PowerShell, and python. Monitor data center health to nurture a dependable IT infrastructure and networking with a 99.9% uptime. Be proactive in analyzing network and infrastructure data to determine inefficiencies and problems. Be the escalation point for the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed. Provide needed help for Internal/external audits. Training the IT team on new systems, protocols, and best practices. Skills & Attributes: Bachelor s degree and 8 years of relevant and progressive IT experience. Excellent verbal / written communication as well as organizational skills. Outstanding problem solving/troubleshooting skills with a can-do attitude. Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills. Experience in disciplines such as analytics, data science, IT project management, cloud, solution architecture, and delivery. Good working knowledge of all IT related Systems, Infrastructure, Applications, Networking, and Cyber issues. Ability to influence change, and manage conflicting ideas and interest Create and maintain SOPs and technical documentation. Good understanding of open source technologies. Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux. Expert in: Cloud technologies (AWS or AZURE), Windows Servers 2016/2019, AD function and roles, Group Policy, Google workspace. Hands-on experience with Nagios, Grafana, ELK Stack, and SIEM tools. Enthusiast and has some hands-on experience with Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare), PowerShell scripting, IT Security tools, and policies. Understanding of: Monitoring/alerting technologies (PRTG), Microsoft Endpoint Manager, VEEAM. Good to have experience with one or more tools and a functional understanding of Kanji, Jamf, Jumpcloud, Intune, etc. Relevant IT certifications (MCSE, Azure Associate or AWS Associate, etc.). Familiar with ISO27001, SOC2, Cyber Security, and Audits.
