What's this role about?

As a Tableau developer you haveto create technical solutions to business needs by translating their requirements and finding innovative resolutions to the brief. You will go through strategizing and ideation stage with the team before beginning on creating the application or solution.

Here's how you'll contribute:

At Zensar, as a Tableau developer you will be:

• Creating high quality code while adhering to development best practices.

• Ensuring developed code is in alignment with system architecture and integration design standards; working with an enterprise framework.
• Actively contributing and participating in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions.

• Being proactive, thinking outside the box and building innovative solutions

Skills required to contribute:

Mandatory Skills:

1-3 years of working experience in Tableau

1. Responsible for performing range of functions in the areas of technical design/review, development, deployment and integration of large Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence solutions.

2. Solution architecture, proof of concept/prototype design, database design, and report testing.

3. Responsible for data analysis and developing reporting specs, developing reports, and developing dashboards and writing complex SQL queries.

4. Worked closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.

5. Create Prompts, Calculated Fields, customize Calculations, Conditions and Filter (Local, Global) for various analytical reports and dashboards.

6. Effectively used data blending, filters, actions, Hierarchies feature in Tableau.

7. Experience on creating user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.

8. Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards on Tableau server.

9. Worked on Level of detail expressions and Table Calculations.

10. Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL queries.

11. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

Nice to have skills:

Working experience in any ETL tool like Informatica, ADF etc.

Knowledge of Python and Java Script
