Technical Architect Job in Xoriant

Role As an AWS Architect, youwill be responsible for developing solutionarchitecture using contemporary server-side technologies and/or cloud serviceprovider such as AWS using techniques to include whiteboard and slidepresentations, product demonstrations, white papers, and RFI/RFP responsedocuments. AWS Architect work closely with client teams, leads, TPMs and havethe overall responsibility for the technical deliverables of projects

Role and Responsibilities

• Involved in understanding complex business problems, evaluate, recommend, and deliver technical solutions to both business and systematic issues.
• Responsible for the local team mentorship from technology standpoint
• Implementation and design of components, and their ownership.
• Participate in Design and Requirement reviews
• Responsible for working closely with customer and ensure Architecture/Design are made per customer business needs
• Responsible for ensuring high client satisfaction through delivery and various value adds
• Also represent account internally in create reports for internal management consumption

Key Skills

Mandatory Skills:

• Should have 12 to 14 years of experience in IT Field, with 3-5 years of experience in technically leading initiatives on Cloud based problems or requirements.
• Should be strong in Object Oriented Approach and framework designs, able to troubleshoot issues, mentor team members when they face implementation challenges and monitor the team progress vis-a-vis the agreed schedules.
• Experience in architecting and running applications in a hybrid and/or multicloud environment
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge Multitenant, multi-region distributed applications and the services which power them
• Hands-on experience with various Distributed NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.
• Hands-on experience with at-least one of the messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Active-MQ etc.
• Hands-on experience with micro services and design concepts
• Good understanding of DevOps technologies and processes related to cloud solutions would be an added advantage
• Must have strong knowledge of hands-on implementation of various AWS components like EC2, Elastic Container Service, Auto Scaling, Batch, Lambda, S3, EBS, Elastic File System, Glacier, RDS, ElastiCache, VPC, ELB, Route 53
• Should have exposure to big data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, EMR cluster, Kinesis)
• Exposure to High Availability set up, debugging & solving memory related issues, performance tuning SQL tuning is important
• Experience on any scripting language Perl/Python/Shell is MUST
• Experience on distributed system design/development is MUST
