Job Summary What we have in store for you:
  • Be a part of Front-end Development Initiatives
  • You will be a bridge between UI and Engineering to implement FE solutions
  • Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project
  • Report status updates as required by the project
  • Follow established project execution processes
  • Deliver beautiful, readable code on time
  • Measure application loading time and optimise apps to perform best on throttled networks including offline networks
  • Build reusable UI component code and libraries for future use
  • Work with product manager/owner to understand requirements and ensure the technical feasibility of UI design
  • Collaborate with other team members and with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across geographies
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Be proactive and have leadership qualities
  • Inspire and mentor your colleagues
  • Learn something new everyday
  • Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing.
You fit the bill:
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • In depth understanding of SE best practices
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Good Experience in HTML5, CSS3, Responsive design
  • Experience in JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX, and OOPs concepts
  • Should not be dependent on libraries, but knows when, where and why to use them
  • Experience in Enterprise web products & mobile applications
  • Solid analytical skills and commitment towards quality
  • Strong problem solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of modern developer tools
  • Leadership experience mentoring/supervising junior developers
  • Experience in leading complex design projects and working with cross functional/regional teams
  • Exceptional skills in project management activities such as estimation, scheduling, review and tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and presentation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
  • Be highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload; and meet critical deadlines
  • Thirst for knowledge
  • Must be a good team player
Good To Have:
  • Experience with the progressive web apps
  • Experience in agile development - experience leading scrum teams is a plus
  • Experience using code management tools: Git, SVN
  • Experience using package management systems like Webpack
  • Knowledge of performance improvement/measurement tools
