Job Summary Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to enhance the organization's security posture by analyzing, identifying, and recommending improvement measures to protect sensitive information. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, safeguarding, and investigating security incidents, ensuring the safety and security of critical systems and data. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cybersecurity Monitoring & Protection: Monitor and safeguard log sources and security access points to prevent unauthorized access. Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies in the event of security breaches. Detect and respond to attacks, intrusions, and unauthorized or illegal activities. Conduct log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access to systems and data. Perform risk assessments, security assessments, and root cause analysis of security incidents. Manage security incidents escalated by the L1 team in 24x7 rotational shifts. Utilize advanced analytics tools to detect emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Provide detailed analysis of incidents and create comprehensive reports and dashboards. 2. Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Assistance: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations. Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits. Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for staff. Provide guidance to employees on identifying and managing spam, malicious emails, and security threats. Stakeholder Interaction: Internal: Regular interaction with Technical and Project Leads for reporting and updates. Coordination with Security Intelligence teams to address security concerns. External: Communicate with customers to address security breaches and resolve issues. Skills & Competencies: 1. Functional Competencies: Leveraging Technology: Expertise in current and emerging technologies, including automation and security tools to enhance organizational efficiency. Process Excellence: Ability to follow established standards to ensure consistent and effective risk management. Functional/Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security devices, firewalls, SIEM, endpoint security, application security, and vulnerability assessments. 2. Behavioral Competencies: Effective Communication: Ability to convey complex security issues clearly to various stakeholders. Collaborative Working: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Execution Excellence: Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving results and maintaining high security standards. Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to identify and resolve security incidents. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Customer Centricity: Timely resolution of security breaches, ensuring a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders. Process Adherence: Adherence to SLAs, response times, and resolution timelines, ensuring high operational standards. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Proven experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk management. Familiarity with network security tools, SIEM platforms, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
